Speakers Bio

While Amy Case’s primary focus is on developing growth strategies for the highly esteemed firms that are clients of the consulting company she founded, Ms. Case also speaks professionally. Ms. Case holds a patent of her own design for “Diagnostic Method and Apparatus for Business Growth Strategy,” and is an expert in driving business growth.  Hers is the sole firm licensed to consult on the concepts articulated in the best-selling book The Discipline of Market Leaders, a topic on which she often presents to wide ranging audiences.
As an international speaker, Ms. Case has addressed groups in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the U.S.  Drawing from her deep experience consulting to Fortune 500 companies, Ms. Case offers powerful anecdotes of how leading companies sustain growth by delighting their customers.  Her audiences have included the executives of such well-respected firms as American Express, Delta Airlines, and British Petroleum.  Ms. Case was chosen to deliver training in Business Strategy to the executives of GE in their flagship Business Management Course taught at their Crotonville campus.  Ms. Case also acts as an adjunct faculty member in the University of New Hampshire’s Continuing Education program, writes on business growth, and is published in several journals.

Before forming Case Strategy in 1999, Ms. Case’s multi-decade career in consulting included a substantial role as Partner at Treacy & Company, with Dr. Michael Treacy, the author of The Discipline of Market Leaders.  There her work addressed a broad range of industries and of client problems, but with an emphasis on defining and delivering superior customer value.  Prior to joining Treacy & Company, Ms. Case spent 12 years at the international management consulting firm Bain & Company, where her clients were generally major multinational firms.  At Bain she also earned the Bright-Dix award for excellence in training and development.

Ms. Case graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, with General and Departmental Honors.  She has completed The Executive Program at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
